HIGH TIME TO SAVE OUR COUNTRY FROM “FALSE DEMOCRACY”
MOST OF ALL THE THREE MISSIONARIES (LEGISLATURE, JUDICIARY AND EXECUTIVES) ARE CORRUPT TO THE CORE:
People of all Democratic Countries should wake up to save their respective countries from the above said corrupt missionaries. In fact they all have colluded themselves and have been looting the wealth of the country. They treat the people, who are the real sovereigns of a Democratic country, as slaves though these missionaries are Servants to the people. They suppress and assert the people to be silent observers and should get what they provide and no one should question them. If any common man questions he will be either threatened or beaten to death by engaging gangsters or rowdies.
You will astonish to look into the fact that the Constitution of India clearly states “Opportunity should be given to all”. Article 14 states that all are equal and there shouldn’t be any discrepancies. But what has been happening in the politics just short of a decade after Independence. The wards of the politicians are brought to politics invariably in all political parties both National and the Regional parties from a Councilor to the Member of Parliament of our Country and force the people to accept it. Do you think it is Democracy? No……. Then what is the difference between the present so called Democratic rule and the King’s or the Emperor’s rule. In the Emperor’s rule only, the heirs of the emperor succeed him. Now, it is the cunning practice of some political leaders who own a political party as his own family trust property and retaining the leadership of the concerned political party, stating that he has been continuously elected as the President or the General Secretary of a political party in a Democratic way for decades. This is an utter falsehood and the real fact is that none other than the top political leaders could contest in the party election as the President or the General Secretary of any political party. In fact it is the asset of the families of the top political leaders of all parties.
In a Democratic country, the utmost aim is to protect the rights of the people and their welfare. Also if any movement either a political party or any organization is incorporated, the Democratic procedure should be followed and no one should be allowed to continue as an office bearer for a second term for the reason that there is every possibility of misuse of powers. As such no politician of any political party should be allowed to continue for another term in any post from the Councilor to the First Citizen. Because these posts are vulnerable and they handle a huge amount of public money and so it is a sensitive post in which no one should be allowed for a second term. Needless to say that from a councilor to the first citizen if you assess the wealth of their family and their close friends, it will run to several crores of rupees and most of them are having political background. A common man who is educated and honest cannot enter into politics because a set of people, who are uneducated, blindly believe the false words of the political leaders and most of them are their fans for their linguistic ability and the mesmerizing speech.
It is the duty of the First Citizen, the President of a Democratic country to protect the welfare of the people and to sustain real Democracy by which maximum no. of people should be given opportunity. But in our country, the President and the State Governors are at the mercy of the ruling political party or parties and hence they ignore the people and become selfish enjoying the lucrative benefits of the Government. The President is nominated and elected by the political parties or its allies who have majority members in the house of Parliament or the Legislative Assembly. Though it is stated that the President of our country is indirectly elected, it is very much obvious to ascertain the result of the Presidential election. So, the President or the Governors will always adhere to the ruling political party/parties who have elected him as President by compromising certain complicated matters in favour of the politicians. If any irregularities with substantive evidences about the politicians are brought to the knowledge of the President or the State Governors, they simply ignore the same and leave the common man without proper reply or action though he is bound to adhere to the fellow citizens at the interest of Democracy.
So, the present Democratic system of electing the President will not fetch fruits to the general public. Like that the President in tern appoints the Chief Justice of Supreme Court under the advice of the Government that consists of the politicians. No one could forget the delay in appointing 17 Judges in the Madras High Court in the regime of the previous Government for the reason that the political allies could not reach into a conclusion of sharing the posts among them for their own choices. Then how can a common man expect justice from the Judicial Officers who are at the mercy of the politicians.
As far as the Executives are concerned, needless to say the politicians appoint people as executives who are trust worthy to them and to guide them to amaze wealth. The Election Commission should function independently and also directly under the control of the President concentrating on the welfare and the rights of the citizens. The Chief Election Commissioner is also appointed by the politicians and he will also be favouring them. It was Mr.T.N. Seshan the then Chief Election Commissioner who implemented so many restrictions to the politicians and made awareness to the general public about their privileges and rights as voters. For the only reason all political parties joint their hands and played a mischievous role to curtail his power by appointing two more Election Commissioners so as to protect their own interest. So, people should think it over how the political parties play their role. No one else has modified, suggested or regulated the activities of the political parties remarkably till date.
So, in order to save our Country, the following changes must be brought to our Constitution:
-
No one should be allowed to hold the post of The President, Governor, MP, MLA, Councilor etc. for more than one term.
-
None of the family members of the above said persons should be allowed for another two terms.
-
The President and the Governors should be elected directly by the people.
-
A high level body consisting of various fields should be formed to restrict the wrong doing of the elected members and other Public servants.
-
People should have the right to recall any elected member or other public servants, if anyone is found guilty or inactive.
-
If any criminal charges are pending against a person he should not be allowed to contest in any election.
